Not-So-Empty Day #2: My First IGTV Video

Spending so much time on YouTube, someday I watched a tutorial on how to edit videos on a mobile phone. And you know what? I'm interested. That's it. That's the main idea of today's post. LOL.

It's one day after Eid Al-Adha and my little cousins had their school holiday. My family and I went to a beach in Lamongan. It's just a short getaway near the house and I recorded some footages. Today, I edited the videos into a one-minute video and uploaded it on IGTV. My first IGTV video! It's obviously not so important, but, you know, just in case you want to know, I also post it here (turned out not so good).

Today's sad news: I missed an internship vacancy I've been eyeing since last week. It's purely my procrastinating self's mistake. *praying for myself*

Not-So-Empty Day #1: A Beginning

Well, unlike the title, my life's been, I've been, so empty these days (if not months)...

Of course, I was so happy to finally be graduated from uni. Nonetheless, it's totally not the kind of happiness following an achievement. It's a kind of feeling I got after doing my laundry when in fact, I hate it, I'm tired of it, I never do it well.

And here I am. Being in days of feeling so blank, not knowing what to do, doubts, recalling childhood's dreams. What adds more weight to it is obviously social media. People bragging about how productive they are, how much they earn at their first jobs, etc, etc. I know it's super toxic but I still don't have a plan to sign out anyway. My bad.

Sometimes I think I should start getting a career in the same field I took in uni unless I just want to make those 5,5 years wasted. Another day, I am sure it's not a problem to pursue a career in other fields as well as starting my own business. Every day having the cycle of those two thoughts make me very unproductive and I end up doing nothing. It leads to me being sad and empty.

So now, with the "Not-So-Empty" series, my goal is just to not add more days to those 5,5 years (it might be 6 by now) wasted of my life. I want to appreciate each of small activities I do and creations I make every single day. It's a commitment to write a diary for someone who can't organize any physical diary book. It's like keeping a track of where my money goes to. Hopefully, I can keep a track of what I use my time for.

Indeed, what you're reading now is today's creation.

Photo Diary: I Wonder

It was the middle of January
The month I was born, the month something started
Probably every part of this story is a fantasy
Sometimes fiction and reality couldn't be parted

3 Things Indonesian Do During Ramadhan

Ramadhan is a holy month out of twelve other months of Hijriyah. It's a holy month because Muslim is supposed to do fasting every day in the month. Muslim is promised with a great reward for every good deed that's done in the month. Usually, people set some targets in their worship, like finishing reading a whole of the holy Quran and rousing the sunnah prayers.

However, besides the main things people do during Ramadhan, there are some cultures happen among Indonesian Muslim. Actually, the cultures may differ every region but generally, these are four of them:

Re-Adaptation

Assalamualaikum, Pals!

Campus life is a little bit harder now. It's getting tough. Hectic weeks. No holidays. Never-ending assignments.

"So, this is how the third year of college is", I thought.

I don't have the time to blog. The ideas of what to post don't even come to me. My mind is full of assignments and organization tasks and I can't even think clearly about them.

"I'm on my way to be mature now", I guessed.

I think that being on the third year of college now is a little bit the same with the first year. I need to learn how to organize the schedule. How to divide the time I have into academics, organization, hobbies, and refreshing. It's an adaptation. Again.

I miss my holiday. I could take as many photoshoots as I want. Put on some lipsticks and eyeliner. Making collages as soon as I was getting an idea. But again, this is an adaptation. To be a mature version of me. To be a person with a thing.

I don't want to be a person who complains all the time. I even had a promise with myself not to write any complaining status on social medias. I did a little bit, though :( But that's just because, I need to waste the unknown yet bad feeling out of my body. I even made it more into humor so people won't feel my negative energy. Some statuses were deleted soon too. Really...

What I'm so thankful is that this blog still has the audiences even when the latest posts were some late posts and not some up-to-date posts. Big thanks to some blogger communities I join. The communities really do affect my ability and luck in blogging.

See you, Pals. I do really need your positive energy by commenting below.

An Afternoon in Coban Rondo: The Labyrinth

Halo, Pals!

I know it's not a holiday time, but having a holiday trip with the lovely friends took much of my time. I didn't do blogging on my vacation, which made me late to post my trip on the blog. Although, holiday posts will never be out of date, will they? By the way, this post and the upcoming post will be full of photos. Cause that is what nowadays trips are for hahaha.

So, a day after our Panderman trip, my friends and I continued our trip to Coban Rondo, which is also in Batu.We went there in the afternoon. Coban Rondo is actually a waterfall, but the developer made some playing spots around it too.

We paid IDR 16,000 for every person and IDR 4,000 per motorcycle to get in and enjoy only the waterfall. So, if you want to try the other playing spots, you'll need to pay other fees. My friends and I decided to try the Labyrinth first before going to the waterfall. If I'm not wrong, we paid IDR 10,000 per person to get in the Labyrinth.

And yes, as I said it before, all we do were taking photos. And searched for each other, cause we're divided into two teams. My team were the last to reach the fountain, that was the center and the point of the Labyrinth. It's not easy to reach the center, you know? We even reached there through the shortcut. It's not something to be proud of, we know. But we didn't have much time. It's almost dusk! (Excuses, excuses, excuses)

See ya...

Panderman Hill: It's All About Being Together

Out of my lack competency in making a friend, I always thank God for having friends who are also family. They're like home, whom I tell my worries to and with whom I share my happiness. They're my vacation mates, my friends since Senior High School.

From every trip I took with my friends, I learn that it's not the destination which is most important but the journey is. When we struggled to go up together, we support each other. "The top of Panderman Hill is just for those who don't give up", that's what we always said to support each other when we're on the way to the top of Panderman hill.

Thank you so much for having me on your vacations, Guys. I always want you all on my next holiday trips. And also, I want you in every journey in my life. Love you so much from Earth to the Pluto :*

Panderman Hill: When the Stars Seemed Closer

Being in a hiatus for almost a month makes me feel guilty to my blog since I've made some targets in January for this year. It's not because I don't have anything to tell. Otherwise, I have so many things to tell you about. But, I have a big event that took much time of me.

So, after the long hiatus, in this post I want to share you my very first time climbing a hill. Yeah, it's not a mountain, but it's also so high. And because I'm a beginner, it's a high reach for me.

I went to Panderman Hill with my forever family Senior High School friends. We went up to the top of the hill in the dusk hoping to enjoy the evening on the top and see the sun rising in the dawn. When people can go up for 3 hours, we need 7 hours. Yes, we're all beginners!

We came to the top at midnight and the stars are soooo awesome! Mashaa Allah, it's what's good about having a trip. It's to increase our faith after seeing His 'artworks'. I've never seen as many stars as I saw that day.

The temperature was so low, but I didn't want to waste my time sleeping in the tent early like my other girl friends did. So, I took my camera and learnt from my friend about how to take photos of the night sky.

For the sunrise, I woke up as early as I can to see the sun went out after hiding behind the mountain. And like the stars in the midnight, the sunrise was also awesome added by the clouds I saw below me.

So, here are the just-so-little of photos

See you again in the next post about Panderman!

Face The Wind and Shine

Have you ever felt like there are so many problems you doubt you can handle?
Then, you feel desperate...
Deciding to give up,
going another way

But do you ever think that perhaps a problem is like the wind?

You might be uneasy because it blows your clothes
It makes you need to put your hands here and there...
to make sure some parts of your body stay covered

But perhaps,
if you know how to face it
The best angle to see it
You might get the best pose on camera

You could be a better person after going through the problems
You could feel yourself shining,
striking a pose,
facing the wind with a good angle

So,
face the wind
and shine!

Review: What I Bought on Bilna

Assalamualaikum...

Hello guys, how's your life? What do you usually do on Sunday? Watching movies/TV? Playing Doing sport? Shopping? As a college student, I have some assignments, but I admit it's like so hard to work on holiday. What about you? What I do on Sunday or other holiday are blogging (exactly), watching some (lookbook) videos, sometimes drawing, and a little shopping.

Talking about shopping, where do you guys usually go shopping? Well, I'm sure you'll go to a mall. I do too, but for grocery shopping, I go to a supermarket near to my dorm. It's cheaper. Some of you must go online shopping, I bet. I rarely do online shopping. I know what's fun about it. It's after making an order and waiting for your order to come, when it comes to your door, and when you open it!

I found this one stop online shopping, Bilna. I even added the widget on my sidebar. As I wrote, it's a one stop online shop, where you can buy some kinds of things. You can find any products in the sort of beauty, baby needs, healthy products, home decor, gadgets, cosmetics, clothes, and even groceries. It's really complete!

This shop is really a new name coming to my ears. So, I did checking the site and browsing some products. I'm really interested in their beauty products. It's quite complete. You can find some international brands too. So finally, I decided to buy a lipstick from Oriflame. It's Oriflame Very Me Lip Addict. I saw the packaging and I thought that it's so 'teenagers' with that hot pink case. That's why I chose it. And yes, I'm right. The lipstick is not too bold to use for teenagers, may be because I chose the blush pink one. I recommend it for teenagers or any girl who wanted her lips to be moist and still need colors. Cause it has variants of colors. Oh, and it has a good smell too. What I regretted from buying the lipstick is that it's glossy. I don't really like glossy lips. I did recheck the site and I found it's apparently a lip gloss. I didn't read the detail of this product, which said that it's glossy. I suggest you to read carefully the details of a product you'll buy online. Surely.

Not satisfied with just a lipstick to buy, I tried to browse drinking bottles. I thought I need one, cause I usually buy a bottle of mineral water per day in campus and added the volume of rubbish in the world. I thought having a drinking bottle is good, for the environment and money saving. Hahaha. It took a lot of time for me to choose the right one. There are a lot of drinking bottles there in Bilna. And they're all good and cute. So finally, I chose a beige bottle from Reduce. It has a good shape and lovely pattern! And I really love it!

So, what are you waiting for? This is the era of internet. You can do anything through internet, even grocery shopping. I've tried Bilna online store and the service is so good. It's good for you to try. So, happy shopping!

'Wear' the Seasons

Hello, lovely readers...

This time I wanna make, on Polyvore, sets that combines outfits pictures with rectangle photos. And no! It seems it's still bad. Sorry. But still, I wanna share you these collages.

This time, I was inspired by seasons. Spring, summer, winter, and fall. Oh, I wanna taste the seasons. Challenge myself to style based on the seasons. So here we are the hijab styles I tried to pour into collages. Again, I apologize for the bad results.

SPRING
What I know about spring is that flowers are blooming everywhere. Showing up their beautiful colors. Green, pink, red, orange, purple. That's why I chose floral item for the 'Spring' style. Oh, I desire too see spring with my own eyes.

Spring Style

SUMMER
When I browse about summer, pictures of beaches come out. But I think the flowers still exist in this season. So, I bring swing dress and floral motif into this 'Summer' style.
Summer Style

FALL
I describe fall with romantic season. I watched Korean dramas and it's so romantic seeing people sit down on the bench while brown leaves are falling from the trees. I wanna taste it! I wrote 'brown', right? That's why the 'Fall' style is so brown.

Fall Style

WINTER
Winter is... exactly cool. I mean cool for amazing and describing the temperature. Although I've never been in winter, I know that it's low in temperature when winter. And that's amazing because trees wear the snow instead of their leaves. I also want to be in the winter, because I can make an Olaf. Hahaha. And also, there are more items to be worn!!

Winter Style

Now, can I ask you to pray for me so I could go to four-seasons country? I don't mean to live there. I just want to... taste it.

Good bye, fabulous...

WBL Let's Play!

Assalamualaikum, Lovely Readers...
How's your life?

Till today, I'm still on my holiday woohooo. And about last week, my family and I went to a theme park in a city next to my city (Gresik), it's Lamongan. The theme park is called Wisata Bahari Lamongan (WBL).

It was fun there with a huge family. We played many games, include fun games and extreme games. Okay, I must confess that I didn't play the extreme games. They'll make me dizzy and I'll feel like I'm gonna vomit. Well, I really enjoyed taking pictures there, since there are many photo spots there. And here are some photos of us (mostly my sister and I)

Did I look a little bit boyish? I didn't mean it, really... .-.
