One Fine Day in Bromo (A Throwback)

I'm not a fan of nature. If you ask me any places I wanna go, I'll likely say every city, every country I knew. But nature may not be my main reason. Even after knowing this beautiful place on Earth, I still don't change. However, I come to understand why people love exploring the beauty of nature. Beauty it is. God loves beauty and so does His creature, human.

BEAUTY - NATURE - FRIENDSHIP

This is a story including a trip by Wardah Beauty Agent Surabaya. We named it a Beauty Trip. Days after days, for works we're falling so deep. Target, funds, deal, participant. So after all the struggling days, to the mountain, we went. I'm not interested in something very mainstream but Bromo, you're beautiful.

I don't know exactly what beauty is tho. I don't know what makes Bromo beautiful. I didn't understand about nature and still don't. And I can't define what makes a scene of nature beautiful. Is it dramatic? Is it green? Is it about harmony? Is it dynamic?

I was amazed by how Bromo is. The green savanna. The zigzag hills. The whispering sand. The friendship among its features.

Friendship? What is friendship? Making harmony? Uniting differences? Sacrifice?

I tried to catch them all into my camera. But a lens doesn't do the just. We have five senses yet it only catches for a sense, visual. And no matter how many tricks I used to edit the pictures, the real Bromo is more dramatic.

Ceritaku di Zetizen Summer Class Internship

Halo, Pals!

Rasanya udah lama banget nggak aktif ngeblog. Mungkin kalian bertanya-tanya kenapa aku tiba-tiba muncul dengan tulisan berbahasa Indonesia. Ini semua ada hubungannya dengan cerita yang akan aku bagi. Sesuai judulnya, kali ini aku akan bercerita tentang salah satu pengalaman paling berharga dan berkesan di hidupku (yak, mulai lebai). Pengalaman berharga itu adalah menjadi Zetizen Squad yang beruntung bisa mencicipi magang dan menggarap beberapa proyek di Zetizen Surabaya.

Kenapa berharga dan berkesan? Pertama, karena ini bidang yang aku damba-dambakan sejak lama dan aku kira tidak ada jalan, tetapi ternyata tiba-tiba ada jalan yang terbuka setelah gagal apply Cerita Kita-nya GoGirl!. Kedua, di sini aku banyak bekerjasama dengan anak SMA, karena rentang umurnya memang maksimal 20 tahun. Dan umurku saat itu 20 tahun lebih. Di situ aku jadi tahu kalau anak-anak SMA di Surabaya itu keren-keren banget. Aku hanya butiran debu. Tapi kalaupun kamu merasa terlambat, jangan mundur Guys kalau ada kesempatan. Apalagi masih memenuhi requirement nya. Kalaupun enggak tapi kamu super pengen banget dengan keinginan menggebu di dalam dada, hajar aja!

 Day 3: October 5th, 2016

#1 Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA)

It's amazing to be here. We could see the development of Singapore from the past and how it is developed to be a modern city in the present, and even the future plan of the city.

In URA, we could find a miniature/maquette of Singapore. Remember the Singapore National Stadium we visited on the 2nd day? The miniature was there too.

The second day in Singapore, we went to Singapore National Stadium and did some observation.

We felt the place, also took some pictures of the building and ourselves in the building haha.

It's been almost 2 months since this trip with my college friends. What a 'real-time' blogger, huh? Hahaha. Anyway, Pals, this will be like a photo diary I recently like to post. And the pictures are purely what I got on my camera. Some are so cool that I can't believe I take them myself, lol.

As you see in the title, Semut is the name of my batch in college (ITS - Architecture 2013). We had our trip to Singapore for 5 days studying about this city (hopefully), held on October 3rd-7th, 2016. I'll write this in time sequence (only 4 days, unfortunately). So, I hope you enjoy the pictures!

Day 1: October 3rd, 2016

#1 Changi International Airport

Yeah, we went there by airplane. So, here we are in the coolest airport in the world. It's not that easy for me to pass the immigration because (maybe) I have only one name. I passed it, anyway.

By the way, if you're the first timer here, don't forget to take a map of Singapore! You could do your trip alone with the map as it shows the MRT routes and good places to visit. Well, basically, every corner is nice to visit (and to take a photo).

I took OOTD pictures here, but I already uploaded it on my IG, so yeah, no need it to be posted on the blog anymore. *Actually, there's a hidden reason hahaha.
