The Girl That Picked the Wrong Ball

A 17-years-old girl had just been the student in college
The girl didn’t have any close friends from her major in the first year
The girl couldn’t find a suitable friendship there
The girl took a visit to other majors’ people
She enjoyed it, but she thought it’s not the time to take some visits any longer
She feels that her major didn’t let her go anywhere, so she just didn’t go
Crying alone in the midnight
Every day

The day has come
She found some girls who didn’t fit in the life in their major
She found the suitable friendship for her
But they had made a life outside the major
They already had different ball of communities
The girl was the only one who hadn’t had anything yet
They’re still together somehow because they shared the same fate

The day has come
She’s pleased to pick any ball of communities
She didn’t pick a ball she thought she’d like
The ball that she actually thought consisted of suitable friendship for her
She thought that she won’t understand the topic
She was just lack of confidence

She picked a ball that she thought she’d like too
But the ball rejected her

In the same time with the ball rejecting her, she thought of something
She lived in the major every day and she couldn’t find any close friend?
“I’ll be a stranger here, I’ll want to close my face every day”, she thought
So she tried it, picking the ball that actually she didn’t like
In her major
Finding out if probably any friendship in her major could accept her
The last ball I told you accepted her

She handled the ball for about twenty times of full moon
She was bored
Very berry bored
She worked, not made a friend
She was bored working for the same ball without any close friend
Her works became like a mountain’s silhouette
It’s going up and then going down again

Now she knows that probably she just had to stop looking for friendship
She just had to stick to the friendship she has made
Maybe she just needed to pick some balls in a short period for each

And now she wanted to know if anyone out there had the same experience
Or almost same experience, maybe?
If not, well, she only wanted to let any other people knows
And to say sorry to whose hearts had been hurt by her

A Short Escape to 'Alun-Alun Bandung'

Happy Sunday, Pals!

Still remember my latest journey in Bandung? I posted about me walking on Bandung's most mainstream streets, Braga and Asia-Afrika. Still on the same day, my sister and I arrived at 'Alun-Alun Bandung'.

Alun-Alun Bandung is where the big mosque of Bandung was placed. It has a very large yard using synthetic grass. Both Bandung citizens and people from other cities come here and they can sit on the grass or on the red benches provided there, enjoying the architectural aesthetics of this place.

This mosque has a beautiful landscape. One of my favorite spot there was the garden. It has colorful vegetations and they're arranged dynamically with the sloping 'grids'.

And the signs were cool...

It's so sad that I only had one day full for walking in Bandung. Hoping to see Bandung again in the future and exploring more places, more streets, and in more time.

See ya,

The Walks on Bandung's Beautiful Street

Hello, Pals. How are you? I'm so glad that I finally had a mini photo hunting again. And it's in BANDUNG!

My sister asked me to accompany her coming to her boyfriend's graduation in ITB. She asked me to take some photos of them together so I had my train tickets paid by her. So happy! I have come to Bandung twice and I never feel enough. As you know, Bandung is full of good places to visit. And it's where to have good pictures of you. I swear!

Well, actually Bandung is where the boy that stuck in my head studies. *Skip! I should move on LOL*

I only had a day to walk in Bandung. My sister and I decided to go to Asia-Afrika Street, since it's a mainstream street for photographs and there is a famous museum there. We used 'angkot' (Dago-Pasar Baru) from Borromeus and got out at a street that we didn't know the name. The driver told us to walk straight to Asia-Afrika Street. But a better faith came. We walked a little and we're on Braga Street!

A friend in Bandung told me to visit Braga since he knows that I like taking pictures, that's why I'm so happy that we found the street. We passed through Braga Street and he's right! The street was so beautiful. Feels so europe with stores, outdoor benches, outdoor cafes, and textured road. It's so pedestrian-friendly. I fell in love in the first sight and imagined if Tunjungan Street in Surabaya can become like Braga in the case that it is really designed for human. *I started to write as an architecture student?*

Honestly, even I love Braga, it didn't have various spots for photos. The benches were same on every spot. The beautiful spots there were actually the facade of the restaurants. But as you may know, I'm a shy girl. It's impossible for me to take pictures in front of the opened restaurant. So, we just passed and arrived in Asia-Afrika Street.

Not like Braga, Asia-Afrika Street was a bit quiet. There aren't many activities outside there except some people who wanted to take pictures too. May be because in here, offices were more than restaurants, not like Braga that was full of restaurants. My sister and I posed here and there. Trying to get as many good photos as possible.

We came in the morning, so some restaurants on the street were not opened yet. I saw a pair of big yellow doors and then my taste and experience in seeing photos worked. Everybody knows a pair of big giant doors is perfect for outfit photos!

Dear Bandung...
You're so lovely. Alhamdulillah. I'm very grateful to be able to visit Bandung, a friendly city.

That quote above represents my feeling. Bandung is not just about geography. It's also about the feeling inside the heart. Hope to see you again, Bandung.
